2nd Trombone / Assistant Principal

Audition for 2nd Trombone/Assistant Principal with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The audition is to be held January 17-19, 2027, and applications close on December 1, 2026. All audition rounds will be held behind a screen, and a trial week will be required for the winner of the audition. The position is set to begin at the start of the 2027-28 Season. The symphony is a 42-week orchestra and the 2027-28 season annual base salary is $74,000, with benefits including health insurance coverage and 403(b) contributions.
