Permanent contract (contract van onbepaalde duur) based in Antwerp, with immediate start. As Deputy General Director / COO you join the management team of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra (ASOBV vzw), reporting to the General Director, and act as his back-up. You develop and implement strategic plans and policy in line with long-term objectives, align policy plans with subsidy applications, negotiate policy targets and report results to government bodies. Operationally you lead managers and their teams, draw up and monitor budgets, consolidate financial reporting, and are actively involved in recruitment and performance reviews. You represent ASOBV vzw to external stakeholders including governments and sector bodies such as Opera Europa. Profile: master's degree or equivalent, at least 7 years in a leadership role, sector knowledge a must.
