Costume Logistics Technician

Permanent position, £42,571.31 per annum for 42.5 hours per week, based between the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London and the RBO Costume Centre in Thurrock. Working within a small team responsible for the transport and storage of RBO costumes and assets, this new position works closely with the Senior Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver costume logistics, stores and transport resources for all Royal Ballet and Royal Opera productions, co-productions and RBO hires, ensuring work is carried out safely and effectively within agreed resources and budgets. The ideal candidate has experience of warehousing and theatre operations (preferably repertory logistics), a good knowledge of costume periods, history and terminology, knowledge of current costume making and maintenance techniques, and strong database and MS Office skills.
