Hoofd Educatie en Maatschappelijke Impact (Head of Education and Social Impact)

Full-time senior management role in the Artistic department, leading the strategic development and delivery of the orchestra's programmes for education, talent development, family and school activities, digital learning and community engagement, both locally and internationally. You ensure these programmes reflect the orchestra's artistic quality and values, strengthen diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility, and translate them into compelling stories for funders, policymakers and partners; you lead the team, set priorities, planning and budgets, and sit on the senior management team. Requirements: academic working level, at least 3 years in the cultural sector, solid knowledge of orchestral and/or classical music, demonstrable experience in music education, talent development, audience development and cultural participation, strong project management (budgeting, planning, contracting, evaluation, reporting), excellent spoken and written Dutch and English, full-time availability including weekend productions and the biennial RCO Young summer weeks. Offered: EUR 5,945 to EUR 8,079 gross per month full-time depending on experience, plus 8% holiday allowance, phone, laptop, home-working and travel allowance; a permanent contract is possible after one year.
