Solo Piccolo (with obligation to 2nd soloist flute)

Permanent full-time (100%) position, based in Antwerp. Preselection is based on CV plus three mandatory video recordings of Rossini Semiramide, Shostakovich Symphony No. 6 first movement and Mendelssohn Scherzo from Ein Sommernachtstraum; recordings may not be edited or cut, sound may not be processed, must be made in a neutral acoustic and tuned to 442 Hz (scores supplied as PDFs on the vacancy page). Live audition 7 November 2026 at Filharmonisch Huis, Kattendijkdok-Westkaai 16, 2000 Antwerpen. Repertoire: Vivaldi Concerto in C major RV 443 first movement; Poulenc Flute Sonata FP 164 second movement (on piccolo); Mozart Flute Concerto in G major K 313 first movement without cadenza (on flute). Orchestral excerpts announced at latest one month before the audition. Piano accompaniment provided. No contribution to travel or accommodation costs.
