Comping, voicings, and the courage to solo — jazz piano is a language spoken with ten fingers. TGC's Jazz & Contemporary division needs native speakers. YOUR STUDIO Teach voicings and comping across styles, improvisation as language (transcription practice, vocabulary building), repertoire from the Great American Songbook through modern jazz, trio playing, and theory-at-the-piano for improvisers. THE ROLE, PLAINLY: this is per-lesson faculty work. You are paid for every lesson you teach — no salary, no minimum hours, no exclusivity. You keep your career, your existing students, and your city. TGC matches students to your studio, handles scheduling, billing, and safeguarding; you teach live on Zoom from wherever you live. You may also offer group classes, full-term studio cohorts, and ticketed masterclasses — you choose your formats and set your calendar.
