The Global Conservatory

The Global Conservatory (TGC) is a live online conservatory: 75 internationally accomplished faculty across 14 countries and every time zone, and 55+ certificate programmes across eight active academic divisions — Performance & Vocal, Opera & Vocal Arts, World Music, NextGen Music & AI, Health & Wellness, Pedagogy Institute, Orchestral Training, and Composition & Theory. Three further divisions are announced: Ballet & Dance and Drama & Theatre launch in 2027 with founding faculty cohorts, and Music Business follows in autumn 2027. Every lesson is live and one-on-one with a teacher the student has met — no pre-recorded courses, no algorithmic substitutes for the teacher–student relationship. Current offerings are live online private lessons, group lessons and masterclasses, alongside mock-audition and trial sessions. Faculty publish their own calendars and set their own rates; TGC handles matching, scheduling, payments, lesson notes and safeguarding. Faculty come from major orchestras, opera houses, conservatories and tradition-bearing lineages — from the Western classical canon to Hindustani and Carnatic music, maqam traditions, East Asian instruments, West African rhythm, jazz, and the modern music industry. Students range from early-childhood beginners to pre-professional artists preparing for auditions. Certificates are awarded today. TGC's degree pathways (BM, MM, DMA) are currently in development and not yet accredited, and no degrees are awarded at present; the stated target is 2029 through an international university partner network. TGC is hiring year-round across its divisions — over 100 open faculty and staff positions, all remote, paid per lesson taught or per engagement. Applications are read by faculty rather than screened by an algorithm, with decisions in 14 days.
