Scatting through rhythm changes, bending a standard until it is yours, singing into a microphone like it is an instrument — jazz voice is its own art. YOUR STUDIO Teach vocal jazz technique and microphone craft, repertoire and personal interpretation of standards, scat and improvisation, contemporary/pop styles for singer-songwriters preparing releases, and healthy technique across genres. THE ROLE, PLAINLY: this is per-lesson faculty work. You are paid for every lesson you teach — no salary, no minimum hours, no exclusivity. You keep your career, your existing students, and your city. TGC matches students to your studio, handles scheduling, billing, and safeguarding; you teach live on Zoom from wherever you live. You may also offer group classes, full-term studio cohorts, and ticketed masterclasses — you choose your formats and set your calendar.
